On to day 3! I was so exhausted last night when I got home from work, I literally collapsed into bed. The great news? I get to do it all over today; however, I don’t think today will be as wild and crazy as yesterday, fingers crossed.
AM: Still pretty creaky in my joints and just overall sore from being on my feet yesterday. Tossed and turned all night, again. And um…can someone please explain to me, the night sweats? Maybe it’s my age (I’m 43) but yuck, woke up a couple of times in a hot mess. But I’m determined to make this thing a go.
Midday: After dropping off my son from swim lessons, to my mother in law’s house, I ran home to grab a couple of things and make a quick lunch. Energy picked up a little bit. Super bloated and thirsty.
Evening: Over it. Sorry to be Debbie Downer but it was just another really really long day today, on my feet again for 12 hours or more. I again, didn’t prepare for dinner and snacked on grilled flank steak and a few roasted potatoes. Not quite as sluggish as yesterday but it was still tough.
Meal 1: Kinda wasn’t feeling like eggs today. Went with the Aidells Chicken and Apple Sausage, Roasted Potatoes and Strawberries. TJ’s Salsa on the side. I really hope these sausages are on the program and the manufacture isn’t hiding something, lol. They are SO delicious.
Meal 2: This was the quick lunch I threw together in between swim lesson for Charlie and work. Pretty delicious and satisfying. Stir Fry of Kale, Asparagus, Oyster Mushrooms, Summer Squash, Zucchini and … you guessed it, Aidells Chicken and Apple Sausage. Maybe I should go work for them. 🙂
Meal 3: (No picture) Bites of Flank Steak and Roasted Potatoes. 2 Spoons of Almond Butter when I got home.
Day 3, in the books.
