Congratulations! You have officially been on a Whole 30 reset for two weeks! Take a moment to pat yourself on the back and reflect on how the past two weeks have gone for you. Do you feel differently today than you did when you started? How are those NSV going for you?
As for me, this has been my experience thus far:
- Significant decrease in bloat. Flat stomach (yay!)
- More energy, able to wake up early with no issues.
- Sleep has improved drastically. Sleeping through the night.
- Heartburn is gone.
- Clearer skin (dare I say “younger” looking skin?)
Moving forward, the best is yet to come. By now, you should have a hang of how this program works, you’re reading your labels, buying non-processed, whole and organic when possible foods. You’ve found some staples that work for you and you’re planning out your meals.
This next week, challenge yourself to try a few new recipes and/or try a new food that you’ve never tasted. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Breakfast: Sunnyside up egg over pork carnita and potato hash.
Lunch: (no photo) Tuna salad over mixed greens
Dinner: (no photo) Dinner at my in-laws, Baked Salmon, Baked Potato, Roasted Brussels Sprouts in Balsamic, Green Salad with Bell Peppers, Kombucha juice.
