Hooray! We’ve reached the last day of our Whole 30 January 2017 reset! In less than 24 hours we will have made it all the way through. Congratulations!! It really is a huge milestone.
Think of all that you have accomplished over this past month. You made it through the sugar withdrawals in the beginning, you fought through sluggishness and were rewarded with Tiger Blood about midway through. Now you are experiencing tons of energy, a flat tummy, fabulous sleep and ________ you fill in the blank.
So what’s next? Honing in on your experience. I HIGHLY recommend following the reintroduction protocol outlined in the Whole 30 book. It will help you identify food sensitivities so you will know what creates havoc in your system; which foods to avoid and which ones to add back in in moderation. If you skip this phase, it’s like washing all of your hard work from the last month down the drain. Now that would be just silly.
I remember from the last Whole 30 we did last fall, I really learned to asked myself after my reintroduction, “Is it worth it?”. This mantra went through my head each time I was faced with something that was a potential food issue. it really does help to keep things in perspective. If you were able to give up some of your favorite foods for 30 days, you can pass on things that may not be “worth it”. Also, I recommend checking out Melissa’s follow up book , Food Freedom Forever to help you incorporate Whole 30 into your life following a reset.
