During the summer months, our chive plants go crazy in our garden, producing tons of flowers. I selected a beautiful blossom and created a tasty chevre spread, great on bread in a sandwich or spread on crackers.
- 10.5 log of chevre (goat cheese)
- ¼ cup chives, chopped
- 1 chive blossom, chopped
- 1 large shallot, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- Add all ingredients together and microwave for 20-30 seconds to soften the chevre. Mix all ingredients until combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve on crackers are as a spread in a sandwich.
