Happy Day Whole30ers! We have come to a point in the program where it feels like smooth sailing until the end (I hope).
I woke up feeling energized this morning after a relatively decent night’s sleep. I’m sleeping better, my heartburn is GONE which amazing all by itself. I just feel more “free”. Does that make sense? My joints move better, I feel lighter and bonus…my pants are fitting looser. What a nice feeling to put on a pair of jeans and have them actually feel loose instead of the dreaded “feeling a little snug” syndrome.
Today is Charlie’s half birthday and his class is celebrating the event. For those students whose birthdays fall in the summer months, the school celebrates mid-year. I think that’s so great! Charlie got to wear a crown during class, take five and a half trips around the sun and enjoy cupcakes with his classmates.
For breakfast today: Hash browns and eggs.
Lunch was a stir fry of spinach chicken sausage, kale and red bell peppers.
Dinner was a hamburger (minus bun) in a lettuce wrap with all of the fixings, sweet potato half moons and green beans.
